"Walk into the Bible"
Giant murals bring the Bible larger than life for children in San Antonio, Texas. The Trinity Baptist Church Children’s Center’s new paint covered walls allow children and visitors to be in the stable during the birth of Jesus and stow away on Noah’s Ark. Trinity Baptist member Shawn Bridges spent a year completing this giant work of art in hopes that children will embrace the Bible as "enthusiastically as they embrace pop entertainment" (Faith and Leadership).

The last thirty years have seen a renewed effort to connect evangelical Christianity and the arts. I'm impressed with how intentionally this church is using visual arts and storytelling to introduce children to the Bible.
