Merge

June 27-July 2, 2010
Cornerstone University • Grand Rapids, Michigan

Merge is a week-long conference presented by Imago, Cornerstone University, and Echo the Story. If you are interested in chronological Bible storying for postmodern Americans and/or young adults, this is a conference worth looking into. Students will "experience key Bible narratives in chronological order" through "creative storytelling, arts and media, lively dialogue, and hands-on learning."

For a schedule, map and/or more information about this conference, please visit their website.

You can also visit Merge online through Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Michael Novelli has written one book about how he uses stories, etc. with students. It's called Shaped by the Story. Michael has a second book coming out in the spring, Enter the Story, that helps a student ministry plan multi-sensory encounters with seven key biblical stories. He drew on his experience with Merge in putting together Enter the Story.

This looks like a great event. I am curious, however. What storying resources are available for students.
