Join Forest Baptist Church of Forest, Va., in giving thanks as they write: “In January, we made our third trip to the B people of Nigeria. We have never hidden the fact that we want to pray with the people and tell them Bible stories. On day two of this trip, the chief asked our team to tell him ‘baturi’ (white man) stories. Afterwards, in the presence of the chief, one of his sons and one of the elders asked for their own copies of God’s Word and also said that they wanted to receive some cassette tapes of Gospel recordings. We were able to share the story of the person at the well and how Jesus is the Living Water. Our next team will be back with the B people in March. Please pray that the people will read the Bibles and listen to the cassettes. Ask the Holy Spirit to work in their lives. Pray that the team members will be prepared to answer any questions they might have and to share new Bible stories. Pray that the B people will repent of their sin and confess Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord.”

Can you post the ION weekly prayer call information here? When you add a comment/post, you will see a small little "Attach: Link" button at the bottom. If there is a website you would like to point people to with the "how to call information", you can copy and paste the URL into that area. On the ION Weekly Prayer Call -- our group will be praying for the B people in Nigeria and for churches to step up like this one and adopt a people group!

That's amazing! Brainerd Baptist in Chattanooga, Tennessee will praying for the B people of Nigeria that the Good News they heard will manifest itself in their lives and that they will realize they are in need of a Savior and that the gospel will continue to spread throughout the land. We will be praying as you return this month that you will be used mightily by God.
