"Hope Stories"
The Hope Stories collection was originally developed for people who have suffered from natural disasters like tsunamis, drought, earthquakes and man-made disasters like war. Its theme is that God cares about people who suffer and gives hope to those who despair. Christians assisting in disaster relief often find opportunities to tell one or more of these stories. These stories reassure hurting people that God is sovereign, that he cares, and that he wants to help. This often opens the way for further discussions about spiritual matters.
